Best available husbandry guidance: Avicularia geroldi is an arboreal New World tarantula. The Spider Shop lists this species as Brazilian, arboreal, 24–28°C, 70–80% humidity, 10–12 cm leg span, fast, and suitability 1. Provide a taller enclosure with cork bark, vertical hides, webbing anchor points and strong cross ventilation. Keep a water dish available and avoid stagnant, overly wet conditions. Lightly moist substrate or a damp corner can help maintain humidity, but airflow is more important than keeping the enclosure constantly wet.
