Best available husbandry guidance: The Mantis Garden describes Spiny Flower Mantis as a small African flower mantis that favours warmth, good airflow and around 60% humidity. Use a bright, airy, vertical setup with flower/leaf décor and avoid stagnant humidity. Use a vertical, well-ventilated enclosure with secure mesh/grippy moulting surfaces, good height, suitable perches and enough clear space for safe ecdysis. Feed by abdomen condition rather than a fixed schedule, remove uneaten prey, and avoid disturbing mantises in premoult or during moulting.
