Delete your account inside ArachniDex
The quickest way to delete your account is through ArachniDex:
- Open ArachniDex and go to Settings.
- Open Account & Data.
- Select Delete account and cloud data.
- Read the confirmation and confirm permanent deletion.
You may be asked to sign in again before deletion can be completed.
Request deletion without the app
If you cannot access ArachniDex, email support@arachnidex.com from the address connected to your account where possible. Include that account email, your keeper or display name if known, and a clear request to permanently delete your ArachniDex account and associated cloud data. Never send your password.
We may request further information to verify that you own the account. Email requests are normally completed within 30 days after ownership has been verified.
Data deleted with your account
Where present, deletion removes your authentication account, email and user identifier, keeper name, profile and uploaded avatar, cloud backups, collection and wishlist records, husbandry histories, breeding and value records, milestones, achievements, and other cloud data associated with your ArachniDex account.
Local data and individual records
In-app account deletion also clears account-related local data held by ArachniDex on that device. After an email deletion request, uninstall the app or clear its storage on any device where local data remains.
You can delete individual animals, wishlist entries, logs and profile records within ArachniDex without deleting your whole account.
Subscriptions and retained records
Deleting your ArachniDex account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription. Cancel subscriptions separately in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions. Payment and transaction records controlled by Google are subject to Google's retention requirements.
ArachniDex does not intentionally retain deleted account data after deletion is complete, except where limited information must be retained temporarily for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or legal compliance. Technical backups may take a limited period to age out.
Deletion is permanent
Deleted cloud backups, profiles and collection records may not be recoverable. Export anything you wish to keep before deleting your account.
