CARE NOTES

Keeping considerations

Provide a horizontal enclosure footprint with ample floor space (at least 2–3x the spider's leg span) and secure, escape-proof doors. Use a deep, compactable substrate mix (such as organic topsoil blended with a bit of sand and coconut coir). Include a low profile water dish for drinking and a piece of cork bark for a hide. Active visual hunters that readily track down live, appropriately sized prey like crickets or roaches.
