CARE NOTES
Keeping considerations
Requires a tall, vertical arboreal enclosure with ample structure (such as vertical cork bark flats or tubes and fake/live plants) to anchor its web. Excellent cross-flow ventilation is vital; stagnant, overly stuffy conditions are harmful to Avicularia species. Maintain humidity via a reliable water dish and occasional light misting or dampening of substrate. Like other pinktoes, they can jump when startled and may defensively project waste if severely provoked.
