CARE NOTES
Keeping considerations
Provide about 15 cm of damp—not waterlogged—beech or oak leaf mould mixed with roughly 10% soft decaying wood. Add bark and leaf litter at the surface to provide cover and slow moisture loss. The substrate is both the main habitat and an important food source, so keep it deep and replenish decomposed material as needed.
