Keeping considerations
Best available husbandry guidance: advanced flower mantis husbandry. Keep warm, bright and very well ventilated, with careful hydration and high-quality flying prey. Avoid stale, wet air and avoid overfeeding. This species is best treated as a specialist display mantis rather than a handling species. Use a vertical, well-ventilated enclosure with secure mesh/grippy moulting surfaces, good height, suitable perches and enough clear space for safe ecdysis. Feed by abdomen condition rather than a fixed schedule, remove uneaten prey, and avoid disturbing mantises in premoult or during moulting.
